Coconut shell charcoal is an important product obtained from coconut shell. It is used widely as domestic and industrial fuel. The shell charcoal is manufactured by burning shells of fully matured nuts in limited supply of air sufficient only for carbonization, but not for complete destruction. To obtain good quality charcoal, fully dried, clean, mature shells should be used.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Idealism Industries is a new manufacturing company which has assembled a fully automated production line for the production of coconut charcoal briquettes for the use with a hookah pipe. The plant consists of a mixer, briquette press, drying unit, cooling unit and packaging unit.
The raw materials for the manufacturing process are coconut shell charcoal powder, a binder and additive Coconut shell charcoal powder with size up to 40 to 200 mesh is used as the raw material. After the pressing unit, the formed briquettes must go through a drying process where the moisture is reduced from its initial humidity which is 21-23% down to 6 ±1%.
